Our Story: A HOME FOR GIRLS IN BASEBALL
Cali Warriors Girls Baseball was born from inspiration in August 2025. After a group of parents and their daughters participated in an all-girls baseball tournament in Reno, Nevada, it quickly became clear this was more than just a one-time trip. The girls found a deep love for the game and a sense of powerful camaraderie that was missing from their typical co-ed leagues.
When we returned, we were surprised to find no local all-girls teams in Orange County. We heard stories of families driving an hour or more just so their daughters could play on a team of their peers. We knew we had to change that.
Our Goal and the Movement
We proudly operate out of Anaheim, California, serving players and families throughout Orange County and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create a dedicated home for girls who love to play baseball, providing the opportunities they need to develop their skills, build confidence, and find a supportive community on the diamond.
The Cali Warriors are now one of many all-girls baseball teams actively advancing the movement across the nation. With the future of women’s professional baseball on the horizon, we are committed to providing a pathway for every girl to play the game she loves right here in her own community. We are building a future where girls see themselves not just as participants, but as true competitors with a path in baseball.
Everything we do is guided by our core values: “Let them play!” to affirm every girl’s right to the field, and “See her. Be her.” to foster inspiration and empowerment.
Our Mission
Operating out of Anaheim, California, our mission is to empower the next generation of female athletes by actively advancing the movement for girls’ baseball. We provide dedicated opportunities for skill development, competitive play, and community building, ensuring every girl in the region has a home in the sport and a path to realize their full potential, affirming that they can “See her. Be her.”
the game plan
Cali Warriors Girls Baseball is dedicated to developing skilled, confident, and well-rounded athletes. Our program focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game, helping girls to grow as players and as individuals.
Our teams are built to compete in tournaments organized by Baseball For All, providing a competitive environment where players can test their skills and connect with other girls who share their passion for the game.
Practice and Development
We believe in a balanced approach to practice, with two sessions each week dedicated to skill-building and teamwork.
- Sunday Field Practice: These morning sessions will focus on team drills, strategy, and game situations, helping players learn to work together as a cohesive unit.
- Weekday Batting Practice: During the week, we’ll hit the batting cages to hone individual skills. These sessions will concentrate on hitting, pitching, and other specific techniques to improve each player’s mastery of the game.
Beyond the Field
While we are committed to helping players master their skills and work hard, we also know that the love of baseball comes from having fun and being part of a team. Our practices will emphasize developing a strong mental game, teaching players how to stay focused, let go of emotions, and overcome setbacks. We want our Cali Warriors to learn that their strength has no limit—that failure is a part of the game, but true warriors know how to dust themselves off and keep fighting for the love of baseball.
